SIYA'S P. O. V.
It's 9:15 and i am already late for my work. I think one day my oversleeping habit will make me fall in trouble. As soon as I reach the mall, I make my way towards lift. But when you are lift will also be not working.
Now I have to climb four floors uff. I reached the store and saw the manager glaring at me. I knew what was coming for me.
"Can you see what the time it is?" He said, pointing towards the wall clock. I silently nodded.
"What is the reason for today?" Manager questioned me.
"I was coming on time, but.. but ummm.... my scooty's tire got punctured." I lied.
"You are lying." He said confidently. I don't know how people get to know that I am lying.
"Yeah, you are right. Please forgive me this time." I said, pleading with him because I know what will happen if he will take action.
"It's okay. Your monthly salary will be deducted." He said, smirking. I know he is a very evil man.
"Siya, also, you have to do overtime today." He said, smiling.
He likes to do that after reducing my salary he take the money in his account and I can't say anything because I need this job.
I sighed and started doing my dutiful work.
I work as a salesgirl in BLACK HAMMER. Basically, it is a clothing store for men and women. It is India's one of the famous brands in fashion industries.
I work here from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some of my colleagues are friendly and some are rude. But today l worked till 7 p.m. for what? coming late by 20 minutes.
After work, we I mean Me, Khushi, and Riya di go for our performance in SIN CITY. Yes, you can guess from the name that what type of club it would be.
But when you are surrounded with a financial crisis, you have to work at places where you would never think to work. This is what is happening with us.
None of us like this club, and I hate this club from the core.
Here I am packing my things to take my leave as it is already the time of my shift to end. I changed my clothes and went out of the store.
Now, I was sitting in the garden. I always feel peaceful here. The serene view and chirping of birds always help me relax after a hectic day dealing with numerous customers.
After some time, I was moving out of the garden when I got a call from orphanage that on my way back, I had to get some groceries stuff n all.
I made my way towards the grocery store and started buying groceries and went to the department store and bought some chocolates for kids.
Shit I have so many things in my hands. I should have shopped less. Siya, you can do it. You just have to reach your scooty. Then I saw the time in watch and then it struck me. It's 9 o'clock. I was getting late for my performance in the club.
I started walking hurriedly and taking big steps but at last......
BOOM!! BOOM!!
I collided into someone and BOOM! all the flour I bought is in the air. I and that guy both were now covered in white flour, mostly on him.
Our bags were on the floor. I dusted off flour from my hair and clothes.
"Hello!! aap dekh ke nhi chal sakte.... Chalne ki tameez nhi hai toh ghar pe rehna sikhiye." I told him, showing my finger.
(" Hello!! You can't walk by watching... If you do not have the manners to walk, then learn to stay at home. ")
"Ohh, hello, madam!! baat kare ki tameez nahi hai toh chup rehna sikhiye," he said.
(" Oh, hello, ma'am!! If you do not have the manners to talk, then learn to remain silent. ")
"Accha, ek toh chori upar se.... upar se.. upar se.. ?" shit why I always forget things at the wrong time!
(" Cool, first you theft, and on top of that... on top of that.. on top of that." )
"Upar se sinaa zorii." he said.
(" On top of that, pretending to be innocent." )
"Thank you. But ab mujhe yeh kahawat use nhi krni." Wait, why did I thank him?
(" Thank you. But now I don't want to tell this phrase anymore. ")
Then I told him "Sorry boliye." and bend down to pick up my belongings.
("Say sorry.")
He jerked the flour from his shoulder and said, "Mam galti aap ki hai."
("Mam, it's your fault.")
"Ye front facing accident tha mene piche se aake takkar nhi mari thi aapko," I said and questioned him further, "Dhyan kaha tha aapka".
("This was a front-facing accident, I didn't hit you from behind, " I said and questioned him further, "Where was your attention? ")
That guy started picking up his belongings, and then I saw his phone.
"Ohh phone pe girlfriend se baat ho rhi thi. " I said, lifting my eyebrow.
("Oh, so you were talking to your girlfriend on the phone.")
"Aap personal ho rhi hai. " He told gazing me.
("You're getting personal.")
"Hmm, girlfriend pe baat aayi toh gussa aa gaya."
("Hmmm... When it came to your girlfriend, you got angry.")
"Meri koi girlfriend nhi hai."
("I don't have any girlfriend.")
"Ho bhi nhi sakti kyuki aap aur aapka attitude ek couple jo hai."
("It can't be because you and your attitude are a couple.")
Le author iss ladki me bohot dum hai
"Dekhiye mam..." Before he could say anything, I cut him off.
("Look, Mam....")
"Listen aapko na phone pe baat krte hua chalne nhi chahie. "
("Listen, you shouldn't walk while talking on the phone.")
"Phone pe baat krte hua drive nhi krna chahie, chal sakte hai. " He said, pressing on the last three words.
("You should not drive while talking on the phone, but you can walk." )
"Dhyan toh divert hua na aapka??" I pointed out his mistake.
("Your attention has been diverted, isn't it??")
"Matlab aapko lagta hai aapki koi galati nhi hai."
("It means you think it's not your fault.")
"40%... accha thik hai maybe 45%." I said, calculating.
("40%... okk, fine, maybe 45%.")
He was such a mannerless man he didn't even apologize for his mistake and walked away. Mr... MR. RUDE perfect.
"Din hi kharab hai pata nahi kahan kahan se aise log aa jate hain ergghh." I muttered and stood up, taking all my belongings.
("The day is bad; I don't know where such people come from ergghh. ")
I went towards my scooty and drove to the orphanage. Soon , I entered the orphanage and went to my room.
I saw a note on my dressing table saying,
"We are going to SIN CITY NIGHTS as we think you will be getting late. Please reach on time babe love you ❤️"
